If you like foods that pair well with beer, try some authentic corned beef & cabbage or beef Guinness stew from Sheridan’s Irish Pub & Restaurant in Smyrna. Or tuck into a juicy burger or their famous sandwiches at Arena’s Deli and Bar in Milford. Our villages are steeped in Colonial history! Constructed in 1798, the Woodburn & Hall House served as a home for many notable residents including some of our governors since 1965. Immerse yourself in autumn at Killens Pond State Park in Felton. This 66-acre millpond is surrounded by forest and trails, making it breathtaking as the leaves change hues. Hike among the trees, fish for largemouth bass and bluegills, or camp beneath the stars. This special spot is at its most memorable in fall.
