When William Penn established Dover in 1683, the heart of the city was a public square known as "The Green". Centuries later, The Green surveyed in 1717 is still the heart of Dover, surrounded by Colonial architecture, shops, and the Old State House. Visit this beautiful, historic site and be sure to shop for a memento to take home with you.
