“A Farmer’s Christmas” (Nov 25 - Dec 16) is a time-honored holiday affair that draws thousands of people from across the region. Visitors step back in time, recapturing the holiday season of yesteryear as they stroll through the Museum’s festive main exhibit hall, delight in the songs of strolling carolers, savor the scent of fresh baked cookies, engage in holiday crafts and enjoy a variety of artisan demonstrations. Among the many highlights is the Holiday Village Decorating Contest where community groups and businesses decorate the Museum’s historic buildings and the Holiday Tree Decorating Contest where organizations and private individuals vie for top honors (CASH PRIZES!!)
