Alcohol ink is a dye-based ink that is activated by using 91% rubbing alcohol and is used on a nonporous surface. The colors are bright and give the illusion of stained glass. The objective of this class is to use ink to give a new look to old glassware and ceramics. If you have an old piece of glass or a ceramic pot with a smooth surface that you want to brighten up please bring it to class; Barbara will also have some to share. No drawing or art experience needed. Please wear old clothes as the ink will stain.
