Plan now for our biggest spring weekend of the year!

Spring has arrived in Delaware's Quaint Villages and it has brought along some of the season's biggest outdoor events, including an action-packed May 4th weekend! Experience the thrill of NASCAR with three days of racing events. Or celebrate our state's heritage at Dover Days Festival with music, maypole dancing, games, vendors and more. That evening, History, Heritage and Hops keeps the celebration going with food trucks and local brews.

But spring brings more than events. It's a time to explore nature with hikes in our parks. Seek out hidden gems like the 3 Palm Zoo, Barratt's Chapel & Museum and the historic Sunnybrae Mansion. Cycle through our Amish countryside. And enjoy the freshness of our farmers markets, nurseries and florists where you can treat mom to a bouquet for Mother's Day. With so much to do, you may need to plan more than one visit to fit it all in!

in exciting events.
If you thought NASCAR, Dover Days Festival and History, Heritage and Hops was a lot for one weekend, just wait. May 4th also brings the Bug and Bud festival, celebrating the outdoors with a parade, kids activities and more. Add the Commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of D-Day at the Air Mobility Command Museum and the Antiques Market at Silver Hill and you've got our biggest weekend of spring!
