Ainsworth Abbott’s Grist Mill Tours

Ainsworth Abbott's historic grist mill underwent major repairs to its foundation this spring, and has now been cleared for reopening.

We will be resuming our 3rd Saturday monthly Guided Mill Tours beginning Saturday, July 18, 2020.

Tours will be limited to 4 people max from one individual household, and masks will be required to be worn by all participants and staff while inside the Mill. Tour participants will enjoy a walk through Southern Delaware's cultural history while exploring turn of the century engineering. Stay tuned for pre-registration information. We will also have the Mill’s restored 1919 Fairbanks Morse light-diesel engine running as a part of the tour.
