A Bronx Tale with Chazz Palminteri

Chazz was born in the Bronx, New York where he began pursuing his career at the Actor’s Studio. In 1988 he wrote a play for himself, which depicted his childhood bringing all 18 characters to life in a one-man stage commentary. Throughout the years Chazz stubbornly refused the sale of his play unless he was packaged as both the actor and screenwriter. With Robert DiNiro as a mentor in 1993 “A Bronx Tale” was finally born and Chazz became an “overnight” star. Other movie and TV roles include Bullets Over Broadway, One Eyed King, Running Scared, Body Armour, Rizzoli & Isles and Godfather of Harlem as well as many others. Chazz can be found still telling his story with friends from the industry and his old neighborhood each Monday on his podcast the Chazz Palminteri Show. He also keeps busy as a partner in Manhattan’s Empire Steak House.

A portion of ticket sales will be donated to The Delaware Italian American Foundation. The Delaware Italian American Foundation (DIAF) is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing a voice to the heritage through events, scholarships, and strong partnerships with other cultural and community organizations.
