Kent County Courthouse Courtroom #1

Courtroom #1 dates back to 1874. The history of Dover is closely aligned to Delaware's courts and to William Penn's 1683 establishment of Dover as the site for these courts to meet. Visitors will learn about the history of Delaware's judicial system and hear stories about the judges that have sat behind the bench throughout the years.
