New years cry out for new ideas and new adventures. Delaware’s Quaint Villages has got that covered! If you’ve been here before, you’re probably already familiar with our history. But we’re so much more than that.

In Kent County, each visit brings a new opportunity to revel at one of our events. Throw caution to the wind in one of our casinos. Keep your New Year’s resolutions with a hike in our many parks. Or toast a new season with a whiskey distilled in Delaware. Make 2020 the year you do something really interesting and completely unique—in Delaware’s Quaint Villages.

First State history.

Kent County is filled with notable historic landmarks! Though only built in the 1930s, Legislative Hall serves as the state capital building for our nation’s first state, Delaware. The original capital, the Old State House, still stands on The Green. Free tours are available for both. Across town, you’ll find the John Dickinson Plantation, home to a founding father and signer of the Constitution.
