The State Street Inn bed-and-breakfast is a tranquil sanctuary to unwind. Just minutes from downtown Dover, explore the walkable downtown area with shabby shops, local restaurants, and historical sites & museums. This Tudor Revival style home was built in 1911 and is currently listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Victorian Dover Historic District. The home was converted to a bed-and-breakfast in 1984. Today, State Street Inn is owned by Fred and Joan Breukelman and their son, Steve.

The Towers Bed & Breakfast in Milford was built in 1783. This luxurious home was once owned by Delaware’s most famous poet, John Lofland in the 19th century. The Towers is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and a part of the Milford Historic District. In 1988, The Towers began to operate as a bed and breakfast. Prior to a bed and breakfast, The Towers went under restoration work including the new exterior color scheme in the California “painted ladies” style. Today, Dan and Rhonda Bond operate the Towers Bed and Breakfast Inn.

This B&B is a short distance from local shops, art galleries, picturesque Riverwalk, and local eateries.
