Dover:

Cool Springs Fish Bar & Restaurant

Established since 1999, Dover’s Cool Springs Fish & Bar is known for fresh seafood entrees in addition to its charming décor. Try the Old Fashion Clam Casino appetizer topped with green pepper, bacon, onion, and spices. Or the Oysters Sashimi, served raw with sashimi and house made wasabi sauce. Top off your meal with one of their award-winning house baked desserts!

Smyrna:

Boondocks Restaurant and Package Store

Located on Lighthouse Road in Smyrna, you’ll find Boondocks Restaurant and Package Store. This unique restaurant is known for their fun atmosphere, décor, specials, steamed crabs, and signature drinks. Order some shareables like their Crab Balls or Hushpuppies. For dinner, enjoy the Surf & Turf entree with fresh Filet Mignon from T.A. Farms, (a local farm in Delaware) topped off with a choice of mouthwatering steamed scallops or crab cake with Sidewinder potatoes.

Leipsic:

Sambo’s Tavern

You’ll find Sambo’s Tavern situated on the banks of Leipsic River in the quaint village of Leipsic. Founded years ago by Samuel “Sambo” Burrows, Sambo’s Tavern is known for their steamed clams, shrimp, rockfish, and oysters to name a few. This is a tavern; patrons must be 21 and older.

Felton:

Seafood City

Just south of Dover, you’ll find Seafood City. Enjoy live entertainment, outdoor seating under the pavilion and order your favorite seafood entrees. Be sure to try some local Delaware seafood – including the blue crab!

Bowers Beach:

JP’s Wharf Restaurant

JP’s Wharf Restaurant is located along the scenic Delaware Bay. This seasonal restaurant offers both outdoor and indoor dining to revel in the scenic views while indulging into your favorite seafood dishes! For starters, order the House Caught Oysters – these delicious oysters are lighted dusted and sourced from the Delaware Bay. Be sure to make room for JP’s Strawberry Pie, a local’s favorite made with locally- sourced strawberries!

Milford:

Heading south of Dover, you’ll see Medings & Son Seafood Restaurant. Start off your dining experience with one of Mom’s Homemade Award-Winning Soups including Cream of Crab, and Oyster Stew. Or try the Crab Puppies (Meding’s very own recipe 70+ years old). Be on the lookout for the USS Shangri-La Propeller outside the restaurant – one of Delaware’s most unique landmark.

Harrington:

Salty Wave Seafood Market

If you’re in Harrington looking for fresh seafood to-go or a place to dine- in, head to The Salty Wave Seafood Market. Order steamed or ready to cook shrimp by the pound or order an assortment of seafood sandwiches, baskets, fish & chips and more. Don’t forget to order the Crab Dip appetizer or the Shrimp Salad Sandwich to pair with a homemade side.
