Where is Killens Pond?

5025 Killens Pond Rd, Felton, DE 19943

You’ll find Killens Pond State Park just south of Dover in Felton, Delaware. This area was originally home to several Native American sites and hunting camps. It was later established as a mill pond in the late 1700s, surrounded by 66 – acres of diverse native species of tress, wildlife and vegetation. In 1965, Killens Pond officially became a Delaware State Park. Today, this hidden gem is known for its outdoor activities, year-round camping opportunities, secluded trails, and fun outdoor waterpark.

Waterpark Adventure - Fun for the Whole Family

Discover Central Delaware’s only waterpark for an adventure!

Hit the cooling waters at Killens Pond’s Waterpark. This seasonal water park is open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day on select days and timed sessions. Amenities include food concession stand, swim shop, locker room, unisex bathrooms, baby changing stations, wheelchair accessible and more.

Reminder: Don’t forget to bring your own lock to use to store personal items inside the locker room. We recommend visiting Killens Pond website and or Facebook prior to your visit to the Water Park for the latest information, hours, ticket availability, and pricing.

 

Nature Center + Kayaking

Learn about the wildlife who call Delaware home.

Explore Killens Pond by watercraft. Rentals include kayaks, canoes, and pedal boats.

Boat rentals are available Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day from 10am-6pm daily. Weekends in May, September, and mid-October from 10am to 6pm.

Reminder: The last hourly rental is at 5pm. Last Pedal Boat rental is 5:30pm. We recommend visiting Killens Pond website or Facebook for the latest information.
