Blackbird State Forest is Delaware’s northernmost state forest and is full of outdoor recreation to enjoy. Make your weekend a real adventure and camp at one of the forest’s five campsites so you have time to enjoy all the activities Blackbird has to offer. This 6,000-acre forest has 40 miles of trails where visitors can hike, run, cycle and cross-country ski during the winter; there’s also a 2,200-foot paved trail for wheelchair accessibility.
