Revolutionary Medicine: Dr. James Tilton
9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
John Bell House on The Green
Learn about 18th century medicine and how the inventions of Dover’s own Dr. James Tilton saved lives during the Revolutionary War and beyond.

Sickness and Health…and the occasional poisoning Walking Tour 
Tours are offered hourly beginning 10 a.m. Last tour leaves at 3 p.m.
Meet at the John Bell House on The Green 
Highlighting true stories of medical curiosities of Dover’s past that sounds like science fiction.

Biggs Kids: Lighthouses
9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Biggs Museum of American Art
Create your own beach lighthouse, just like the one featured in a painting of the Cape Henlopen beach in the Biggs’ collection. All ages welcome. 

Guided Tours of Legislative Hall

Guided Tours of The Old State House

From Tinfoil to the 78

Johnson Victrola Museum
Guided tours will explore the origins of recorded music from the days of the earliest phonographs while discovering brilliant inventors and engineers who made recorded music part of daily life.

Tours of the Governor’s House
10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
At Woodburn – The Governor’s House
Enjoy guided tours of the official residence of Delaware’s Governor since 1965, and Hall House, the Governor’s guest house.

Genealogy in your Genes: Using DNA for Genealogical Research
10:30 a.m.
Delaware Public Archives
Learn the basics of “genetic genealogy” as a way to supplement your traditional research, find out about comparing test results and how to target your connections with Michael Hait, CG.

Whodunnit? An Historic Murder Mystery
1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
The Old State House on The Green
This interactive theatrical program asks the audience to help Dr. James Sykes solve the 18th century murder of Samuel Bedford III. The program is free, but space is limited. Reserve your spot by calling 744-5054.

Kent County Courthouse, 38 The Green 
Enjoy a guided tour of the newly restored Courtroom 1.
