Morning: Amish Country Bike Tour
Start off your day at the 31st Amish Country Bike Tour. Hosted in partnership with Bike Delaware, the bike tour will take you on an excursion through our quaint villages of Dover, Harrington, Felton and Marydel. Come hungry, because the rest stops along the way will include famous Amish Country locales like the famous “Pie Stop” at the Amish Schoolhouse, where you can indulge in delicious and locally-baked pies and cookies.
Delaware’s largest cycling event isn’t a race — it’s a chance to spend a leisurely day soaking in the local sights, and ends with a catered picnic that’s sure delight your whole crew. This rain or shine event starts at 8 a.m. and is suited for all ages and abilities, offering 15, 25, 50, 62 and 100-mile loops, each of which starts and stops at 411 Legislative Ave. Register here and find out more about this unique event.

Round off a full day of events at the 16th Annual Riverwalk “Freedom” Festival, where you can support those in active duty as well as veterans with “Operation Give Back.” The Riverwalk “Freedom” Festival offers everything from food and craft vendors to kid’s activities and live entertainment. Stroll around historic Milford, delighting in the sights, and finish off this memorable day with a fireworks show at dusk!
